February Stuff
Hi,
Well I got a bit of a surprise on opening the Sunday papers, to see a story about Keran and New Evidence in the Mail on Sunday. I had bought several to catch stories on several people who have had their children taken away (only to be later found the allegations were not true - but they still can’t have their kids back). So to see that was a bit of a surprise to say the least, it seems like an age since all that was nearly (NEARLY) the norm for us.
The story on closer inspection was about the report from two Pathologists who don’t seem too keen on the SBS Hypothosis (sounds like a ship). Which I had seen, hopefully this will help in a review of SBS cases.
The other good news although tinged as always with great sadness was the story of Stuart Baily up in Sheffield who was accused of SBS. The trial collapsed recently when Prosecution experts (amongst other things I believe) couldn’t state it was SBS. For me neither side can state it definitely, so as I may have said once or twice before, if it iain’t Black and White, its grey and therefore shouldn’t get into a court of Law and be put before a jury, why should they decide which expert is right/better etc.
Stuarts relationship with their child’s mother has broken down sadly and no doubt helped by a wedge driven through there by certain ‘official’ tunnel vision people. I hope now that they can all rebuild something of their life’s.
Talking of rebuilding on a lighter note I see the Royal Navy may have to do a bit of a rebuild on one of our Nuclear Missile ‘boats’ - Sub. After it collided in the middle of the North Atlantic (of all the oceans in all the world…you had to sail into me). I just wondered how the hell you exchange details at that depth? And if you were writing it on a scrap of paper, would you be able to read it once back inside the nice warm sub (now that sounds like a sandwich)?
Thankful nobody was hurt, lets face it we all could have been if that had gone wrong! Sadly more British troop casualties have come in from Afghanistan. I met an ex Squaddie today whilst out on the road training, things haven’t been too good for him. They don’t always get a great time coming back into civvy street, after all they do or have done.
The clock keeps ticking and not long to go until we get Keran back and then we can hopefully concentrate on clearing her name and others in the same boat.
I have had a few more e-mails from other families both here in the UK and from the other side of the pond, in Canada and the USA. Researching other cases often turns up phrase that are all too familiar with us, such as floppy, seizure, lucid intervals etc. Quite a lot I just haven’t come across before, its amazing how much stuff is out there to go through.
Anyway I have a cunning plan to help get us out of the financial downturn in our house I have a couple of children okay not 13 years old, but I have seen a great way to make money…
Mind you when I was 13 all I wanted to do was play football, hang around with my friends and the like. We have to stop letting or forcing ‘children’ to grow up soooo fast. Bless him he looks like one of the Cubs I was teaching Archery to the other week, i.e. 8-9 years old. He may not look so fresh faced after sleepless night etc.
Speaking of which long day today, so off to bed, take care, stay safe.
