Trial and hopefully no errors in Truro

Evening all,

Never got to say that whilst wearing the blue serge (although that sounds like a Balkans Stripper).

Anyway more serious stuff to blog about, I see that Anne Marie Rooney awaits the judges summing up next week in Truro.

I was interested to see that there was “overwhelming evidence” of SBS…wow…at last they have real evidence of a so far unproven theory…OR of course they are just using the same old paid mercenaries to say the same old stuff and nonsense.

There are experts out there, that are much truer to the legal process, if they don’t know, they say so, if they think its something they say it could be that, and if offered that it could be something else…

Whereas the boys and girls in the SBS brigade…sorry ladies, not as many of you seem so certain as some of the “old brigade’s big guns”.

I remember the term “big guns” being used whilst outside the court watching the proceedings. I guess we were the Light Brigade in comparison riding into the enemies guns. Well they did inflict serious casualties last time that’s for sure, and they did a lot of damage to themselves in the process (and their associated helpers), ironic eh chaps?

But the Light Brigade in all their battered finery, went away, and licked their wounds and came back, they developed their tactics and got stronger, new personnel and new equipment came in, they left their horses behind and got armoured. So they became tankers as opposed to the other side who are … not tankers.

They just stick to their “big guns”, well things change on the battlefield boys. Ooh and they said war would be over by Christmas well with the retrial not until early December now, we will see, we are back into another phony war period, but there are always fresh battles to fight and skirmishes to be fought. Before the main act, we watch, we wait.

I just hope the jury in Truro are good and true and not easily convinced (see how the word con, forms an important part  of that word). They must remember it has to be beyond reasonable doubt….and surely there is doubt, if its an unproven theory.

Also gives you a clue if they can’t decide if its Murder or Manslaughter? Cake and eat it comes to mind again, that was used in the Mallinder case and others. ‘do em for both and maybe the jury won’t go for murder, they won’t go for innocent…so they will go for the middle ground…manslaughter’…hmmmmm.

Justice?

Or

Just a stitch up??

I still struggle with should all my hatred and anger and desire for vengeance go to the experts, for touting their nonsense, or those that allow them to say it, or those that encourage them (and pay them - and seem quite cosy at times). Maybe the systems to blame eh Gordon?

Its not my fault that people give me loads of money to say that SBS is true (and beyond all reasonable doubt…remember that if your ever on a jury)…its the systems…..

Bring on the Law Commissions work into the use of Experts, we have some suggestions….and also some for those involved in these cases, like the Police, CPS, Social Services etc.

Can they fix it?

But more to the point…

Do they care?
