Remember September

Well here we are September already, not long to go till our next D-Day. What happened to the summer holidays though?

70 years ago though I read someone from my old mob, the RAF, said at the outbreak of another long running conflict, some little set to called World War 2, said words to the effect of why are we going into conflict on a beautiful summers day?

5 years it went on, World War 2 that is, although we are starting to catch up very quickly now. I remember one of the Police in our case saying hopefully we will know whats happening in September (2005 he was talking about - as they couldn’t find any UK experts to look at the case - they did well then to find as many as they did then)!

Well September came and went, as did another and another. I heard Green Day on the Radio the other day playing ‘When September Ends’ or whatever its called. That became a bit of an anthem for me until, about the third September came and went, then it became ‘why are we waiting’?!

If only Keran had been a Libyan Terrorist she would have been out early. I am thinking of digging for oil in our back garden and then maybe they will take more notice of us? If you see petrol pumps on the driveway you know I struck lucky…

Whoever lucky is….

Anyway, picked up on another case, and I hope to mention it a bit more in the future, but just to say they are in my prayers and thoughts. I hope they can all be together again, very soon. Bit weird again as some experts say one thing and others the opposite, but whilst that all goes on people and more importantly their children suffer.

I see theres a new film out called the September Issue - I have an issue with September as well…must be catching!

The beauty is though as the seasons start to change (remember seasons - that was when you could only buy Strawberries in Summer, you know in time for the rain at Wimbledon) it will be good news for our troops out in Afghanistan, they have had a rough summer, we lost another Chinook the other day but more vehicles are being brought in. Gordon Brown nipped out to see the troops (not sure who is running the country this week - it could be my turn so I will keep this brief), mind you I notice Gordo didn’t drive …. can’t think why?

Right best go, got an oil well to drill. Not long to go until the next phase we will keep you upto date. Then it will be Oils well that ends well - sorry couldn’t resist…

I could end up buying a footie team if I strike oil…hmmmm, who to buy…..??

Ronaldo for Hull City?

Watch this space……

Justice for Keran - much more likely!
